I am IN IT right now!
The exciting chaos of shifting & renovating homes, traveling to co-lead workshops, creating a brand new beta-group experience and making space for the pursuit of JOY, LOVE and FREEDOM has my proverbial cup overflowing.
A few years ago, the unsettling nature of these things may have left me a nervous wreck. Now, I make sure to leave room to care for myself amid the chaos.
I believe creating time and space for ME is the antidote to all the crazy. It has been the most important tool I’ve ever implemented and the most hard-won too.
In the past my internal programming resisted EASE and FLOW with great force because I felt guilty to slow down…lazy if I was resting…unproductive if I wasn’t working hard…
These days, my well-being comes first, no matter what, and from that space everyone and everything benefits.
I feel more grounded and compassionate to others and my surroundings.
I am connected to my life force energy and truly FEEL radiant health.
I easily give permission to myself to slow down, rest and regroup when needed.
And it’s seamless to make healthy choices consistently.
I am so much more aware of the how and why partnering with our bodies is actually the key to all things we may be struggling with. When we treat ourselves like a loved one, we know. Our bodies know and everyone around us knows and sees it too.
Because our inner world reflects outward.
Our external world is just a reflection of whatever’s going on INSIDE of us.
So beloved, where are you disconnecting from yourself? What’s showing up for you externally that could be fixed within? How could you create a little more well-being in your life? What comes up for you?

SPICY TACOS WITH CABBAGE SLAW:
This is legitimately one of my favorite recipes, beloved by my husband and step-daughter alike. In fact, we’ve eaten this bad boy so many times, we had to take a break because we’ve started to get tired of it! It’s worth any effort put in and typically goes so fast, there’s nothing left over for leftovers!
You can customize in whatever way suits you–as always, experiment and see what works for you and what doesn’t.
For the tacos:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon paprika
2 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or crumbled tempeh
2 canned organic chipotles in adobo, seeded and chopped (read ingredient labels to avoid added sugar)
Cabbage or lettuce leaves or corn tortillas for serving
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Lime wedges, for serving
For the Cabbage Slaw:
½ cup vegan mayo or plain yogurt/dairy alternative yogurt
3 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ small head green cabbage, shredded (save outer leaves for taco shells)
1 red apple, chopped
3 scallions, sliced
Prep Cabbage Slaw: Whisk the vegan mayo or yogurt, vinegar, ¾ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper in a bowl. Toss in the cabbage, apple, and scallions. Let sit for 20 minutes before serving.
Prep Spicy Taco filling: Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, 8 to 10 minutes.
Add the cumin and paprika. Cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the chicken or tempeh, chipotles, and ¼ cup water. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the chicken is very tender, 35 to 45 minutes. Uncover and cook until the liquid has nearly evaporated, 5 to 10 minutes. Coarsely shred the chicken. If using tempeh, cook until tempeh is browned and heated through
Place a few spoonfuls of taco filling into your shell of choice, top with a few spoonfuls of Cabbage Slaw and sprinkle of cilantro. Serve with the lime wedges.
