Did you know that your body prefers different plants, herbs, and foods in the winter versus the summer? When I came across this beautiful recipe, I knew it would be perfect for warming your heart and grounding you during cold, winter days.
- 2 tbsp dried rose petals
- 2 cups almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of cardamom
- Maple syrup or Stevia to taste
- Place the rose petals in a tea bag or ball. In a small saucepan, add the almond milk, rose petals, and vanilla. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes to allow the rose to further infuse the almond milk.
- Add sweetener to taste and enjoy, sipping slowly.
